Celebrating the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend in Shoreditch

Whether you’re a local or travelling from further afield, the bank holiday weekend from 2nd to 5th June 2022 will be a fun-filled time to be in Shoreditch. With four days devoted to celebrating The Queen’s historic reign, we've got the ultimate run-down of what’s going on in the area.

Queen’s Jubilee Weekend at Old Spitalfields Market

Look forward to a four day street party with live music and royal decorations at Old Spitalfields Market. On Thursday 2nd June the Antiques Market will be transformed in to a Jubilee special awash with nostalgic memorabilia. Plus for families there will be pop-up shop, café and art workshop hosted by Vandal Kids x Art Play on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June.

Turn Up Jubilee, 100 Shoreditch High St

Sponsored by the EECF and Arts Council England, Turn Up Broadcasting are hosting two days of creative upskilling sessions for young people in London to commemorate The Queen’s Jubilee. If you are aged 13-21 you are invited to join and develop your creative skills from industry experts.

Platinum Dance Party at One Hundred Shoreditch

Head to One Hundred Shoreditch on Friday 3rd June for a night of DJ sets headlined by Martelo. Incredible views across the city and a delicious cocktail menu are promised.

The Backyard Brunch Festival at The Light Bar

This weekly Saturday session launches on 4th June with DJs, live music, food stands and pop-up bars. This month local artist Patrick Mullins will be exhibiting along with an interactive stall hosted by local illustrators selling Jubilee-themed art.

Shoreditch Jubilee Weekender at BOXPARK

Book tickets for Thursday 2nd or Saturday 4th June from 9pm till late to ‘celebrate the Platinum Jubilee in style.’ Expect live music entertainment, roof terrace DJ sets and amazing food.
