The Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA) is putting on a number of free events between 30th April and 1st June to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. Families are invited to take part in excavations at the site of The Curtain Theatre, where Galliard’s joint venture and mixed-use development, The Stage, is set to be built. The remnants found will then sit in a heritage centre at the centre of the new Shoreditch development.
